That title sounds like a Conan-Doyle Sherlock Holmes book.

Due to his background sounds more like a settling of accounts

Who is to say that they weren't real police officers,........apart of course from the police themselves and looking at their form of late many might consider it to be par for the course ?

Some of the local newspapers have published a photograph of the body found on the beach. It is wrapped with plastic and tape in the same way as the numerous drug parcels regularly washed up on Costa Blanca beaches.

This is the guy from La Zenia ?
It was front page news on the coastrider (local chav paper) here on Monday, my initial thoughts was he was not a brit, many have said to me I might up in a green bin one day but joking aside............no one is stupid enough to not weigh it down, its a simple message to others.
Ive heard loads of stories being here, some the Guardia dumping bodies in the salt lakes as it erodes and disintergrates
This is not a kidnapping, simply a message to someone else, kidnap and brains ( he was a scouser) would have tied weights to the fella, they did not do that but went to the hassle of covering everything else up.

Its strange, not many people here knwo about this story, I did as I do take a interest, if in UK it would be big news, now because he is English its made Sky news, and I still bet tomorrow no one will be aware of it. This was quite a big story as I remember when it happened in UK, but again nobody is aware of it.

I think Spain unless your in Andalucia in the campo (but you would stand out) has lost its easy exit for ex-crims, be them Brits / Ruskies or Rumanas, for me that's a good thing, they should look at getting the boat to Tangiers or flying, but the life wont be the same - or will it ? Spain was the place and I think if you have money and keep yourself to yourself there is options, I think the same too in Rural UK and Ireland, but these people have no savvy, nothing at all. They deserve what they get.

Don't get too excited, Andy. This is way outside your league.
