Spring Is In The Air

Hi Guy,s :D
Oh dear I got up this morning and noticed a serious layer of dust around my house, ooooops to much time spent on the lappy,so I have been busy spring cleaning for a few hours,I was getting along ok.I even managed to give my tropical plant a bit of water ( only I could kill a tropical plant,I think it thought there had been a storm),I managed to get the lounge cleaned until I got to the lappy, thought Ill just clean the screen, mugh Ill just log on for a minute and catch up on a thread or two, then mother in law turned up for a chat ,log ff :frown: after she went I took George for a quick walk, the sun is shining and a definite air of spring is here at last .Had quite a good week end, with a bit of fun with Miss Naughties thread, found out I may have a virus, and squirrels, oooops oh dear, but the good news is that the O/H has at last finished tiling the kitchen,so one step nearer to putting the house on the market,I somehow think its going to be a long road to Spain :frown:

Anyway last night we were having yet another conversation about our impending move, and we have now decided to rent long term and plough our money from the sale of the house into a business.Mmmmmmm hubby says he has just got to have something to do,he cant lay about drinking sangria by a pool all the time :( would of done for me,well I dont know? seems like a big move to relocate and start a business,I suspose there are lots that have.I think you guys are going to be hearing quite a long drawn out tale about this. If there are any budding entrepreneurs out there that have started a business in Spain Ill be pleased to here your veiws

Hola jean,:)

You really have got lappyitus, :o you know it really has got a hold when you can't walk past it without just checking something, ........as if it is going to delete anything all on it's own!! I keep trying to tell myself they are not real but continue to talk to them, very odd but then I do work with lots of them and children, so no hope for me really...... love 'em though, the children that is oh and the computers.
Anyway after all that waffle about nothing really, so business now is it, is this a different business from what you had in mind, or have you come up with new ways to make a living. I understand hubbys views though, surprisingly enough coming from a sun worshipper, I can lay in the sun by a pool or on a beach till the cows come home, not that many cows frequent those sort of places but anyway, when I spend the whole of the summer in Spain I find that I really do have a low boredom threshold and really need a project. This normally consists at the moment of painting something. Still giving our little home in Spain some tlc.

Good luck with your plans.
take care,
Eve

Re: Spring Is In The Air

Hi Jean,
that would be great , I have a computer in spain, well I did have, a poor old lappy which has now gone to pooter heaven, but should have one installed over Semana santa, I just have to find the best place in the house to put it. I piggy back my neighbours wireless internet and becaus eof the thickness of the walls etc there are a lot of dead spots in the house, it was ok with the lappy, I could move about and hang out on to the balcony if needed,, not so easy with a desk top, i have got a booster siganl arial to take with me which should help but also depends on whether the signal is string near an electricl point, oh the joys of spanish electrics!!! But have faith, I shall be connected  and will pop on every now and then.
keep having those ideas and one day you will achieve them.
Eve

i know how you feel 3 cats was five but its going to be more as mummy up the duff again. Must get her done but at some stage as its the third litter and im bored with her having kittens on me in the night. The front door step looked like a scene from reservoir dogs.

That is a coincidence I dabble a bit with art,I should have gone to art college from school many moons ago,but with family matters a bit stessed to say the least alls I wanted to do was to leave school and get a job.I still am very interested,I have all the equiptment but unfortunately am unable to find the enthusiasm lately. But well done you  I think that it must be really nice to combine your interests and make a living. My passion is my dog,my hubbys is cars, hes fanatical about them,so we will no doupt think of something.I have given some thought of opening a boarding kennels, but nothing is set in stone at this point.Well the very best of luck with your project:D

Raining all day here on the Costa Blanca today, but at least it isn't the cold miserable rain you get in the UK.
