Special evening Open Day organised by the British Consulate in Alicante
Chance for Britons to get pensions, benefits and healthcare questions answered
British residents will have an opportunity to find out more about their pension rights in Spain, as well as the rules and regulations on working in the country, by attending an Open Day event in Orihuela Costa, organised by the Consulate in Alicante. This event will be held in the evening, to allow those who are busy during the day to attend.
Health matters and how to get medical treatment will be on the agenda, as well as the offer of one-to-one advice from the Pension Benefit and Healthcare team at the British Consulate. The whole presentation will be tailored to deal with the issues that concern British residents most, based on the questions that Consular, and Pension, Benefit and Healthcare staff get asked each day. There will also be a member of the Consular team to give residents of Orihuela Costa a better idea of how the Consulate can help.
British Consul Paul Rodwell said: “I really hope as many people as possible will take the opportunity to attend this event. It’s a unique chance to get the information from the experts, and to get any ongoing doubts or worries dealt with.”
The open day will be held in the Salon de Actos of the Orihuela Costa town hall on 24th February at 7pm. If you are interested in attending, you can book your place by going to www.ukinspain.fco.gov.uk or by calling 91-714-6443.
