As you said that you withdrew the money in the 18/19 tax year that means before 6 April 2019, and you said that you were not tax resident until August 2019 then I cannot see how that can be.

In Spain, if you are tax resident at any time during the tax year, you are tax resident for the entire Spanish tax year, so to say that you were only tax resident from August is wrong, you were deemed tax resident for the whole of that tax year.

HMRC allow split tax years, Spain does not.
