Default Spanish Income Tax

Hi, Hoping that anyone who has a good knowledge of income tax in Spain can help. My Parents who are both retired are hoping to move to Spain to rent long term. The only thing that is a concern is how much tax they will have to pay , at the moment here in the U.K they do not pay tax on their pensions, and believe that they will probable have too in Spain, that would not be a problem providing it is not too steep.!. Their pension in £ sterling is as follows - -

Father - £8585 + £2789 Personnel Pension ( Annuity )
Mother - £4130

They do not own any Property any have very little savings.
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

On those figures they will pay no tax in Spain either. Anuities are treated very favourably by the Spanish taxman and they could be taxed jointly or separately which ever gives the best result. If they are over 65 their tax free allowance will be greater than the pensions.
