Back on topic, sort of, the ECB dropping the interest rate to the same as ours in the UK is bound to improve British interest in the Spanish housing market. I'm not an expert but the pound Sterling is bound to increase in value against the dodgy Euro.

I'm a few Centimos richer already because of my British earnings, and it might keep me in Spain longer than it would otherwise have done.

On HIGNFY ( you might not know it, it's a sort of comedy news programme) the other night they were talking about a sterling-zone as well as a eurozone

The mind boggles. Apparently if Scotland goes independent they would still like to use the pound, so we will be in a sterling-zone, takes a bit to get your tongue round it, let alone your head.

I'm not in the UK but use the £, hence my location £land, so I am already in the sterling-zone:)
