Spanish Driving Licence Renewal

Well hubby has had a notice of renewal of driving licence from Traffico. The thing is it doesn´t expire until 2014 for a car but expires to drive a lorry in November. Well as he is not expecting to be getting a lorry any day soon what is the point of this, surely it is a matter of just not driving lorries. However it says if you don´t go and renew and get a medical you are liable for a fine. Anyone had this and what did you do about it?:frown:

I had a similar one a year or so ago, don't remember anything about a fine.
When I turned up for the medical the girls asked if I would be driving lorries, on my reply of no the laughed and told me to go away.

Just ignore it. You will just lose that entitlement.

The licence is still valid for cars. You will only get fined if they catch you driving a lorry. You can't get fined for not renewing your licence.
