As Concierge for the Spanish section of BE I would like to say hello and welcome.
BE is a very large expat website, so if you have problems finding your way around we have concierges who will try to direct you. The moderators for the Spanish forums are Mitzyboy and Fred James, moderators are there to ensure that the site runs smoothly within the rules of BE. Problems and complaints should always be addressed to a moderador who will look into the matter and deal with it efficiently and fairly. Our members who post in the Spain Forums are friendly and helpful with a wealth of knowledge of the issues of living in Spain. At the top of the page you will find a quirkily named thread called Free Beer which is full of important and useful information. Hope you enjoy your time participating in the forums. Please let me know if you need any further help. Rosemary |

Google masmovil. I have an iPhone on contract with them and I pay €14 a month, although I dont use it a lot :-)

Re: Spanish contract mobile's
Contract is always better that pre-paid.
Pre-paid is expensive and difficult to know what they are really charging you. It's no surprise you keep having to top it up. 5€ here, 10€ there.. seems like you use it very little in between? |
Re: Spanish contract mobile's
How much to do top it up with ? I put 20 euros in mine at a time and unless I am texting UK a lot it lasts more than month at a time. I don't make many calls with it mind you and not connected to internet at all. Movistar to Movistar is cheap or free I cannot remember now.

Re: Spanish contract mobile's
You can change to a €6 per month Habla contract with Movistar. The calls are much cheaper - 6 cents a minute, free at weekends - and no top-up hassle. Do it online or call in at one of their branches, no need to change your number or SIM.

Re: Spanish contract mobile's
Remember the IVA on the 6 cents and the 15cents plus IVA charge for connecting the call ? and the limitations.
