Spanglish by Children
I had to share this one! My daighter is 16, bless, and has lived here since 5 years old. She has always attended spanish school but we speak english at home.
Her command of the language is good but she came out with one the other day. Her 14 year old brother, during a dispute, booted her up the backside. She came to me with a scowl and said he had put his foot-finger in her bottom! But the best one was after a phone call to her aunt in the UK. Grandpa Cliff hadnt been too well and when I asked her what the latest was, she said he had been diagnosed with cancer of the clitoris!!! I dont know who must have been more shoked, me trying to work it out or poor Grandad! |
