What total rubbish, the UK face far more serious and dangerous challenges than two neighbours acting like schoolkids in a shared driveway.

Its 2014 not 1914.

If British people had any pride in their nationality they would have stopped visiting Spain a year or so ago at least.

Unfortunately they are only interested in the CHEAPEST ( shite ) as seen in the rise of Lidl, Aldi etc.

Re: Spain playing dangerous games in Gib (again)

Why do you say lidl and Aldi are Shite? They aren't! I shop at Aldi and have done for years.

They sell the same food as rip off Tesco etc a lot of it manufactured by the same people in the same factory but cheaper. Its just got their own packaging. Iv'e seen this first hand when I was working in air conditioning.

When muller bring a new product out its not long before Aldi has an identical item, coincidence ay? I doubt it!
Branded bread, Hovis etc 25% or more cheaper, why is that shite?

Its amazing how many people with your attitude have changed in the last few years since that have shopped there, also the attitude of the big stores. They have started to reduce their prices now because so people have go to Alde and Lidl.

The car parks at Aldi are usually full now so I think that speaks for its self.

Anyway off subject, rant over:thumbsup:

Have to say Fred - cliff's right. The quality of Aldi and Lidl's stuff is at least equal to the other supermarkets.

Any way...:focus:

Never been in an Aldi and I never will. ( British pride due to following sentence )

That German company banned the ROYAL BRITISH LEGION from selling poppies outside one of their shops near Newcastle some years ago.

Whilst I agree that Lidl sell some products far cheaper than Tesco ( another shop I avoid ) they also stock large quantities of poorer grade products in my opinion.

Fred shops at Morissons who are in serious trouble due to falling sales and profits .

But on topic, Spain is probably being courted by the US and Nato to join the fight against ISIS. You do not need to be a genius to realise that the UK will know that Spanish jets over Iraq and Syria are far more important and of value. than the odd one that flys over Gib.
