Holidays are banned by the British government until mid May. People who will be going now will be people sorting out property who didn’t have the TIE. Your allowed to leave the uk if you fill out the declaration form stating that you are doing it for property abroad.

True, but one is also allowed to go visit to view property which leaves the door wide open for those who would abuse the system and copy BoJo Senior, Dominic Cummings et al.

So what I can make from This is that Spain has taken Britain off the “risk” list of countries. So pcr tests won’t be required on entry.

Hopefully, and maybe Bojo will reciprocate. I would be interested to hear confirmation from those who makes the journey.

You can't be sure of that as currently most EU countries require a negative PCR test. Also the Indian variant is spreading in the UK.

The borders across Spain were all closed for Easter. After Easter it was down to the regions to decide. Andalucia is still locked down with both the regional and provincial borders closed and unlikely to change within the next 2 weeks.

I can’t see anything about pcr tests on entry to Spain from the Uk. Only for as risk countries which the UK isn’t on?

If you are its a bit annoying for us residents who cannot.
The borders are still closed here in the Valencia Community.
6pm bars shut 10pm curfew. 30% inside and 100% on terraces.
Should think twice (and 3 or even 4 times) before allowing any tourists in before the general population are cleared to travel around the country they live in.
We had planned to visit Ibiza but cannot go there.

The Uk is not mentioned by name in either of the PDF files in the link.

If the UK appears in the second part of the PDF (third countries) it's not an at risk country. So as it's not mentioned in third countries it's currently considered an at risk country, but the page has still to be updated after the latest announcement.

No, it's saying that they have introduced the isolation requirement for high risk countries and may consider lifting restrictions for EU countries. The UK is a 3rd country. You still need a PCR or TMA test to enter Spain from any country apart from those listed in the exclusion list (page 2) on the MSCBS site.

When UK residents are eventually allowed in, I hope they don't reduce the requirement from PCR or TMA to include LAMP tests. It a real joke that you can enter the UK with a LAMP and then need to take PCR's afterwards. LAMP tests are cheap as chips, PCR are not. It makes me think it's all about money....

Vaccinated Brits will be allowed to holiday in Spain from 17th May.

Assuming the UK manage to come up with a Covid Passport by then. Looking at the way the Track and Trace app was a complete disaster, I wouldn't put money on it!
