Spain & January 6th public holiday
Have booked flight to Alicante Jan 6th and have just realised it's a BIG public holiday !!!!!!
Will I still be able to get a taxi at the airport or will everything be shut down as in the UK on Christmas Day ??? May need to re-arrange flight to another day ! Will public buses still run or will all the drivers be taking a sickie...?? Thanks  |
Taxis and such should be no problem according to Cathy- my Spanish wife. "Reyes" (or 3 Kings day) is like Christmas for most of us- in as much as it is the day gifts are exchanged.

Many thanks - that has put my mind at rest !
Will proceed as planned :) |
Yeah you will be OK, most shops and supermarkets closed but small shops and bars open so you wont starve, plenty of taxis, and the same fares as normal...:)
