It’s worth pointing out that Spain already had a law to enable you to make detailed choices about treatment. You can for example ask not to be fed by tube and a whole raft of options to choose from. This is available in Andalucia. I expect there will be similar in other regions.

Euthanasia is a last resort when all other options of not allowing yourself to receive any treatment have been exhausted.

Look up Voluntad Vital Anticipado.
