SOS for the Animal Lovers!

Here we go again!

Got called by people who'd heard a puppy whining underneath a pile of wood, logs, and building materials.

Went and checked it out....and sure enough there was a small puppy in there. But it was too terrified to come out! However by carefully moving some of the stuff and a bit of crawling around, we got her out safe and sound.

And here she is....

http://www.maximumbikes.com/pics/pupf.jpg

She's about 5-6 weeks old, is very timid, but also very loving.
We've got somebody looking after her for tonight because all this happened this evening....but tomorrow's another day.
As a temporary solution we're going to construct a wooden pen out of old pallets and put her in the cave next to Dylan, so we can keep her warm, safe, and fed.
But she needs a permanent, loving home. She's only going to be a small dog so she'd be perfect for anybody really.

Can you help? Do you know anybody who can help? If so contact me asap....don't worry about the distance....we can sort something out.
We can't save them all....but we can save some of them! Any help appreciated!

I tell you what Jon....it might be physically demanding and sometimes emotionally draining....but it sure beats the hell out of the bloody mundane existence that some people have over here.

She actually looks as if she's been well looked after, from this picture.

She's in a pretty reasonable condition considering Jules....slightly dehydrated but nothing to worry about. And unusually, no fleas either.

Oh bless her; she's so cute

She actually looks a lot like the dog that our Spanish friends have been trying to persuade us to have...............and he's 6 months old now!

It's good to see that she's not in too terrible a condition after her ordeal.
Do you think there's a chance that she actually belongs to someone, but just got herself into an awkward situation?
Maybe someone believes her to be lost?? We can but hope.

I wish I could offer you some more practical help Dr Doolittle.
I always thought that was a daft name actually...................it should be "Dr Do-a-lot!"

Hugs to that little puppy.

Hi Pete :)

Just wondering if there's any news about the puppy at all?

Have you had any luck finding her a home?
Or does Dylan have a new friend to share his cave!? ;)

Thanks Sam! And another rescue today as well....a small pup was stuck on the roof of a cave extension!
The wife's a tomboy who loves climbing....so she clambered up the side of the rock and onto the extension roof of the cave to get it down!
