Social security reductions

Hello all,

I have heard that the social security monthly payments for autonomas has gone up to 271 euros a month....

If I start newly as autonoma now, apparently as I am under 35 I can get a discount for the first year or two?

Does anyone know anymore about this?

Thanks

I'm not sure, but I think the increase is to allow for paro payments, but you can opt out and still pay 250 euros a month.

Yes I think I've advised on here before that as you are female and under 35 you will get a discount for the first 2 years. My OH pays 175 euros/month, unfortunately she is about to enter her 3rd year!
