I got there lol Thanks everyone for replies, this site is great for help and advice We went to the correct one first when trying to register, but was sent to another, who sent us to the other one. They said it had all been changed and the first place we tried was now the only one doing it. So we went back and after a row with the guard he did us the honour of giving us an appointment number, 15 mins later we were on the Spanish Health system. doh Why don´t they share the info with all concerned when they change the goalposts ? |

OMG!! Thanks Tim. Catch 22. To get a job looks like I need a social security number, not got a job yet and will have to pay 250 euro - how does one pay that if not earning? Don't suppose there is anyway round it?

Yes, it is age dependant. I used to pay circa 180 euros a month until I turned 35 and then it went up quite sharply.
