We in Scotland would be more than just happy to export all of our snow to you down there....you can have the lot if you like, free of charge.

Re: Snow!
I feel jealous of the snow. Had a great time in it overChristmas/New year.
It feels really cold here in Málaga now, and with all the reports of snow, both in the UK and Spain, I keep expecting to see it when I look outside.
I wish.

Re: Snow!
Not that far up the road & there's snow on the ground (admittedly not a snowball's chance.....!) but loads atop Maroma & when we drove down from Fuente la Piedra/Antequera there's loads on the mountains over East, plus of course the Sierra Nevada now looks a picture. Too bloody cold though....3deg earlier on & neighbours tell me minus 6 expected

Glanced at the forum, no replies after mine; glanced out of the window and guess what.....
IT'S SNOWING! Serious, proper, white sky loads of flakes kind of stuff! Woooo! Shame the highly important firewood will now be damp again....

Re: Snow!
... just stopped snowing here, we've had the lot - snow, sleet, big fluffy snowflakes, fog with snow, snowball fight with 7yo, neighbour's 2 kids and Juan up the hill who unfortunately found he'd left his microcar window open & the driver's seat was a good source for snowballs! and of course now 7yo yelping with itchy knees & frozen hands and the water heater's not liking the weather so hot water's a bit thin on the ground

I'm amazed how much is settling. I'm going to take the camera out tonight when we take the dogs out again.

Re: Snow!
The snow here has existed lifelong. Maybe with more persistence in some places than in other, but the snow in Spain is not a novelty

Re: Snow!
All this snow talk is disconcerting.
Just wondering but is there some massive discrepancy between google weather and reality?
I checked the weather report, temps etc. of a few places in Spain today; Santander, Leon, Burgos, Valladolid, Cordoba, Seville and Malaga and they were all highs or around 18 during the day (14-15 up north) and lows of between 9 and 3 at night.
Thats not very cold for a north European is it? I mean, 18 degrees is t-shirt temperature for me personally and an overnight low of 3? I'd camp in that no worries.
Is it really as cold as all that or is it just increased sensitivity due to being so warm the rest of the year? I'm wondering if I should be packing thermals and gloves etc!
