SMS message from TGSS

Hi All,

My teaching contract ended in June and I signed up for El Paro until my contract re-starts again in mid-Sept.

However this morning, I got a text message from TGSS saying "tramitada alta de fecha" and it included my employer's details, weird because the last time I got this message was when I signed my new contract last year.

Anyone know what this text message is?

Without having the full message, it sounds like you've just started at that company?

You can check your social security history or your current situation here.
  • Informe de vida laboral - entire Social Security employment history.
  • Informe de situación actual del trabajador - what Social Security thinks you're doing now (working at this place, on benefits, etc...).

You can use the usual ways of doing something online (certificado digital, clave pin, SMS) to get an immediate PDF copy. You can also receive the vida laboral by post in 1-2 weeks with the "Recibir informe en mi domicilio" at near the bottom of the page and fill in your details which should already match what they have on record.

Hopefully the vida laboral won't show you that all that time you thought you were employed... you weren't.
