And you've never heard of "peste". Maybe its an asturian thing? The dictionary is not sure that the word can be conjugated as a verb but my OH does, so there

Thank you, you have explained it very well, I have heard of peste, but is not possible as a verb.
Of course if it is an Asturian thing who am I to argue with that, I have a nice Galego verb of my own CHEIRAR.......WHICH CAN BE CONJUGATED.
