I was actually thinking of looking into this voip lark today!

Does anyone have any recommendations of proper looking/handling phones and none of this headset nonsense?


And as a side note can you run a fax line off a voip connection?

You can use your phone with it, just 5 cents connection and calls to landlines in many countries free.
8 cents a min to UK mobs, 10 cents to Spanish. ????
Not sure about a fax, but maybe, cos you use your own number.

Thanks mate i'll take a gander at that later tonight when I get the chance.

I've seen loads of new skype/voip phones in currys and it may save me having so many bloody line rentals in my house and office.

JDR can I use my normal phone with VoipStunt if not what do I do to use it and not switch the computer on everytime I want to call my broker ;)

it works good and thought skype was good until started to us VoipStunt
i got help line No. in Uk Ireland Sweden hungray and dont cost a lot

my phone have been halfed in last year

You need PC on to dial your contact.
Your phone rings and when you pick it up you hear it dialling your contact.
5 cents connection and free call to most countries landlines.
If he is a good broker you will only need to call once.

I use the free Skype and find it great for talking to friends etc in UK:)

Just download it anyway Sam....costs nothing to download and you can add as many phone numbers as you want.

Actually within the Skype system (ie totally free calls) nobody has numbers, only usernames. Use ours to speak to friends and relatives all over the world who are also on Skype but never tried the paying bit.

For once you can get owt for nowt, that is after paying for a computer and internet connection in the first place.

you can talk to some one that has skype , how it works is its voip system
its computer to computer chatting that the simple way off explaning it

but if you top up with your account with 20 euros you can then ring land lines

there outer person has to have a skype account on there pc like msn are g mail
