Hi All,
Looks like as discreet as possible correctly shaped dish of the minimum size exceptionally well tuned in is the only possibility used in conjunction with the most powerful DigiBox is the only solution for the middle and eventually southern part of Spain.

Nope. Dish size is king here. You can kid yourself all you like. There are currently no satisfactory substitutes. Just read all the threads on Sky in Spain on this forum - of which there are several.

I was hoping that when we move that we'd be able to get a villa which would allow a dish, but it looks like for our budget its going to be a flat, so no dish. I have a friend who's furnished flat came with cable and he has about 30 german channels, since the wife is German (and my German is passable) we may go with that option. On the other hand a year of Spanish TV would do wonders for the language skills.

Once we've moved I'll post what options there are for TV here.
