we have a place in daya nueava .and are spending christmass thier .our youngest son ,who is 16 is a keen skier .we are thinking of spending a few days sking .granada is the nearest resort i believe .any one any information

I suggest you google itto get all the details. There is some good if limited skiing in the Sierra Nevada. The real experts are a bit sniffy about Grenada but it is more than adequate for most people and you can ski in the morning and spend the rest of the day in shorts at the bottom of the mountains if you want.

If you dont think this is up to snuff there is some good skiing in Andorra depending on how far a drive you want. Whichever have fun and enjoy.

I spent Christmas in the Sierra Nevada a couple of years ago. Accommodation in the mountains is majorly expensive Fri-Sun but gets a bit cheaper midweek. Staying in the city of Granada is a cheaper alternative and doing the 30-40 minute drive up to the ski station is quite do-able.

i need to do some more research me thinks.looking for a short drive ,i have been told that prices are reasonable in granada ,not being one of the more popular winter resorts .and is mainly occupied by spanish
