Surely the place to get it is where you got the contract from ?
If it is within 14 days they should replace or refund by law.

So you played with a brand new Iphone and never realized there was a completely corrupt (?) sim card in it till the no quibble exchange ran out.
I think you will struggle with it now, but surely they know where to get a replacement sim for it, did you give them a bit of grief and upset your chances of help.
How about just buying a new sim from the shop and put it in and suffer the cost as experience, any Movistar sim will work in it although you will have a different number, but don`t forget to register it as if not it will be cut off.
I have found most phone shops extremely helpful if there are problems.

I think, JDR, that the point being made is that they had 2 identical SIMS - one for the IPHONE and one for the car. If they buy a new one, then this negates the original reason for buying duplicate SIMS.

I had a similar situation (if I'm understanding correctly) in that I wanted a copy SIM for my car - MOVISTAR were most UNHELPFUL.

I didn`t know you could run two phones with one sim number ?
So every time someone phones, both phones ring ?

the movistar shop in the centre of torrevieja just along ramon gallud from the plaza de la constitucion on a corner will do a copy for about 5 euros. remember to take along your passport or whatever document you used when you purchased it they will ask for it.

Something to remember Movistar shops are nothing to do with movistar they are franchises that pay to use the movistar name the same with vodafone orange if you look on the sign above the door it tells the name of the actual company that operate that shop.
