Signing Papers
I have a business property in Spain which I rent out to a tenant. I am living in Italy. The question I ask is this:
If I wish to sell the business can I have the Spanish lawyer send me the papers to sign or do I need to sign them in person at his office?
I know that several years ago it was possible to have papers sent to me to be signed. But I think the law may have changed and that I may have to sign the papers in person at lawyer's office.
I would be very grateful if someone knows the answer to this. Thank you.

Re: Signing Papers
Actually you are correct about the law having always been like that. My mistake.
I made enquiries and realised that the property I bought about ten years was done through power of attorney with my brother. No wonder I did not recall having made the trip!
