Normally an intensive course will be 20 hrs a week, five days at 4 hours a day, a superintensive, 30 hours a week. If you're a beginner, serious about learning and only going for a month or two, I don't really think for an hour and a half a day you're going to learn a great deal.

Thanks for all the responses, looks like I'll have to rough it here for another couple years. Since someone asked, no I don't have dual citizenship. My situation in the US is very complicated and stressful, and it's not something I chose. My job sucks, my house sucks, this town sucks, and really all that could be fixed by moving to a different state but I have a worsening condition that requires surgery I can't afford because I'm not eligible for healthcare Sorry I don't mean to whine, I just need an outlet.
