shops in gib
 

Hi all.

Does anyone know if the shops in Gib are open on a Sunday? I really want Marks and Spencer and Morrisons. Also what are the qures like now, I have not been down there since early october and spent 3 hrs in all queing on and off ( 1 1/2 jrs each way).

Unsure, but do have Marks opening time leaflet at home, will check and let you know later. Went down just before Christmas, and not too bad, but was early and a Friday.

yes i believe so and the que's well we went in no waiting and out again no waitnig, parked on top of BHS no strss what so ever we arrives about 1.30 and left about 6 ish no hasstle what so ever

Morrisons Opening Hours

Im not too sure about shops either, it seems very Monday to Friday there 9-5pm and Sats.

Morrisons is def open every Sunday. M and S only seemed to be on the Sundays just before Xmas. Main Street is pretty dead on a Sunday but the bars are open for Sunday lunch. Went last Wed and no queue at all either direction.

This has been my experience.........

....as many stores on Main Street are Jewish owned, if it's a normal, quiet time of year, certain places don't open on a Saturday or at the least close early. However, I noticed a difference last time I was there and most places seemed to be open until 19h.

I have been told that if there are ships in over the weekends, then all shops open including M&S.

Morrisons seem to open similar hours to UK - ie nearly all of them!!!!!

thank you you lot......i will defiantly head down there this sunday with my mummy.
I am not keen on the place , it reminds me of Chatham! ( hopefully no offence)
My Daughters only treat is tinned rice pudding and chocolate buttons....neither if which I have been able to get here, so I shall head down and stock up.

No, Marks do not open on Sundays. I asked when last over there.

Thanks Glynis, I will not spend my christmas vouchers on Sunday then on £50.00 worth of M & S chocolate cerial! ( Why did my father in law give me M & S vouchers for christmas when I live in Spain! ) Da Nada!

M + S shut Sundays, Mon to Fri 0900 to 1900, Sat 0900 to 1700.

Bring us back some choccy ;)
