"Goods must arrive no later than three months after the owner’s arrival. Three-month extensions may be granted if shipments are delayed; contact Spanish Customs for information."

Looks to me like a time limit applies...

This checklist may help:
https://www.schumachercargo.com/docs...egulations.pdf
This is a checklist for someone moving from the US to Spain, but I guess there's not much difference between the US and the UK now.

Here's the link I posted on the other thread:
Home > The Tax Agency > Customs and Excise Taxes > Customs and Excise Taxes > Customs procedures and administration
You'll need information in the personal ("vehicles" and "reliefs for change of residence" would be the two most important I guess) and general sections.

Hi
My research so far has lead me to the conclusion made in the documents post by Anettje, so far you need all those things including an Eori number to ship your own goods.
i have been in touch with Brittany ferries who passed me to their commercial haulage dept. When I finally make contact I will let you all know the results.
it is dawning on me that my driving to Spain days are numbered, and I’m likely to call it a day after my next trip...this is further bad news for Brittany ferries as I’m sure many others must be considering the same....and I know they are in trouble!
My last observation is the quality items I am taking to Spain, dining tables, rugs, light fittings, beds etc are still going to be far cheaper than buying in Spain, I have a cut off level of 600 euros. Ie if it costs me more than that for a well packed van full of carefully bought furniture etc then I’m better off buying the stuff in Spain. I would probably advise people not to bother taking your own stuff out unless like my stuff you would not be able to economically buy it out there.
regards

It would have been nice to agree with you, but alas, my Spanish is very basic and not up to official customs language.
I wish you good luck with your move and please keep us informed.

Some pages on there don't seem to want to translate in English so I can not confirm or deny your claim of no need for customs clearance for personal items.

Whilst on my phone it gave me, at the bottom of the screen, the option to translate the page into English.
try that, or you might have the option in the 3 dots on the top right hand side of your screen, where it says translate.
thanks for your good wishes

Re: Shipping personal goods to Spain
I also posted a checklist above which a removal company from the US to Spain wants. I guess they don't ask you for this information just for the fun of it, so it might be a good idea if you are able to offer the same information to customs if they ask you for it.
Anyway, good luck and maybe you can post back saying how it's done afterwards.
