We usually take the open top bus tour wherever we go to give ourselves an idea of the place. You may get a reduction if you have proof of age. We use the 65 card. The centre of Sevilla is beautiful so just wander round the streets, call into the cathedral, have a coffee, tapa and feel the wonderful atmosphere of the city. We enjoyed the boat trip too. Have a great time.

We're also thinking of visiting Seville, although tbh have been thinking of it for a long time. Really ought to get around to doing it. Being only a few hours away we'll drive there. Can anybody recommend a midrange hotel in a good location from which to walk out and explore which also has car parking.

Bookings.com has the filters for Sevilla , by city area, parking etc . We tend to opt for NH chain, good sensible, reliable, nothing exceptional. Although last time there Rey Alfonso X - a classic

Novotel Sevilla
Avenida Eduardo Dato 71 41005 SEVILLE SPAIN We always stay here. Next door to the Sevilla fc stadium, easy to get to from the A92 motorway, secure underground car park, pets welcome, loads of bars/cafes. Although not in the center of town there is a metro station close by and loads of buses. It's around a 20min walk to the cathedral. |
