Hi,
New to this.

I want to make a denuncia against an individual on grounds of enviromental concerns.
I take it i can do this online?
Is it possible to do this without a CIF/NIE/NIF
Can I,or any other person use a UK passport number .Would i/we still need to visit a police station after filing the online complaint

yes you can make a denuncia with your passport as ID


you have to go to the police station to sign it

They are obliged to investigate and, in my experience, always get back to you pretty promptly. You may be asked to make a statement in person etc if the matter is taken further by them.

Making a Spanish 'denouncia' is different to reporting someone to the police in the UK. You normally have to attend the appropriate police station in person and a statement is taken from you. That statement will be made available to the person you have denounced, along with your personal details, unless there are special circumstances to protect your identity, which are rare.

You might get a better answer if you provide more details.

Just phone the central 902 number in Madrid with your own preprepared statement in English.

The denouncia will then be written in Spanish and faxed to the police station of your choice, whereby you must go there and sign it.

Job done.

I was going to object to the unnecessary double exclamation marks, the 902 number and most certainly to 'the police station of your choice', but surely we are both trying to assist the OP without such animosity?

I've got no idea where you are based in this large country that we share, my reasonably qualified advice is based on my experience in the Valencian community.

if the OP comes back with more information then I'm sure more advice will be forthcoming.

I'm back again. There are often much better ways to deal with environmental problems rather than making denuncias. It again depends on the circumstances and where you live.
