Hi All,

Just wondering what opportunities are there for a Gas Safe Engineer with plumbing experience in Spain?
Looking to work with a team or alone. Have our own business in the UK doing installations, Gas Safety Certificates & servicing.
My wife Carole is a qualified Yoga teacher too.

Hi,

Do you know all the gas safety regulations regarding the Spanish systems, as I understand they might be quite different from UK standards. I expect you will need to be able to produce the equivalent Spanish certification, and do you speak fluent Spanish? There are plenty of plumbers out of work at the moment but the industry is starting to pick up slightly. The unemployment rate in Spain is still one of the highest in the EU.

Not sure what the demand would be for yoga but I've no doubt another poster will give information on that subject.

I doubt you`ll be able to do installations in Spain without Spanish papers , the only way you`ll get those is to be truly fluent and know all the Spanish terminology for gas fittings and components .
