Our Thursday night processions didn't happen due to the bad weather, but luckily the Good Friday ones went ahead. There should be one at 5.00 pm today but we've had showery weather so don't know if it will go ahead or not.

One thing that has always puzzled me is that the Easter Sunday procession is pretty small and insignificant compared to the others - why is this, I wonder, when I would have thought that if you buy into the whole religious thing, you would celebrate the Resurrection above everything else?
