Default Selling A Vehicle In Spain ???

I've just sold a motorcycle and the buyer is moaning that the front brake is vibrating a bit. I knew it was as this model always does it after a few years. I've had 5 of them. GSXR1000.
I don't consider it dangerous and waiting for a report from his garage. I'm in Lanzarote and he's in Tenerife

He says it has a 6 month warranty and I need to pay. I have been Googling and second hand vehicles do have a warranty but it's a bit confusing.

I'm wondering if it covers consumables such as tyres and brakes etc

Any of you wise folk can offer guidance?

Gracia

Hola

Yes I can offer advice - what you don't need are opinions - what you need is good professional advice from a qualified lawyer - It will be cheaper in the long run

I am very sorry that you don't approve.I'll thrash myself with nettles.

I have asked 6 solicitors, but none could help me. I thought a forum with hundreds of ex-pats may be a source of help. Stupid me.

Per this link what you say would seem correct if the brake problem was not mentioned to the buyer. Seems like a bit of a minefield I'm afraid.

I've seen other stuff like that, but nothing concrete.

Having transferred many cars, believe me it can be a minefield. My word of caution comes from experience. I don't keep up with law changes and any lawyer should before giving advice. Further you have a chance of suing a lawyer but have no redress against any forum member for the advice given.
