searching for those nice people from galicia
i would love to catch up with the people who recommended the builder from the north coast of galicia who is now doing a slendid job on the renovation of my house in galicia.

Nope not us, we bought a renovated house, it is much easier than having to wait for several years for the work to be finished. Plus all of those headaches too!
Contact Battlezone, although she does not post so frequently. Her OH is a builder, so maybe her recommendations come high.

Not absent. I PMd Sporny and explained to him that he was a touch confused. Yes, the OH is doing the renovation for him with his partner. They started six weeks ago and he travels down early Monday and returns on Friday. So while he gets the glorious sunshine in Pontevedra I am stuck with the rain, and three bored children.
As for the work he is doing - he quoted for doing the roof and some floors. Now he has been employed to do electrics, plumbing, fitting four ensuites, kitchen, new walls, installing new windows and the list goes on. So I leave it up to you to draw your own conclusions.

To be honest BZ.. I didn`t notice anything untoward in Sporny`s original post... and neither did Jdr by the looks of it. I`m glad your OH is getting good work and keeping busy in these times.. I`m sorry about the weather and the bored kids .. I know what that is like. Im in Coruna next month for 3 weeks doing the rounds of family visiting, I hope the weather improves by then !

Good, We also never saw anything in the original posting...but at least the the OH is earning money with more and more work.

good day all........... i would like it known that i am absoluetly delighted with Battlezones work on my house. He is a top class builder producing excellent results. I feel like i have struck gold with this chap. i could not have wished for a better man to do the job and i have no hesitation in recommending him as a most delightful, charming fellow who works in a most proffesional manner.

There is nothing better than to have recommendations from people who have first hand experience of a persons work to encourage others to book them for other work.

To The Oddities and Hillbilly.... the way some posters have been recently you can`t really tell so nobody`s fault. Sporny... glad you have found someone and he is doing a good job ... and British workmanship too! The Brit`s are being slagged of at the moment so it is good to hear.
