I dont know how good your Spanish is, but maybe take a translator to the school with you who will ask what the significance is of 27th March???? I dont think its a legal requirement for children to go to school until they're six in Spain. So it could be that they're not too bothered because of your childs age?

Maybe try a nursery or preschool ???

it's possible that infantil is full - compulsory schooling doesn't start til age 6

it's also possible that something got lost in translation, as the schools have been on Easter holidays - maybe they were just closed?

there is a 'cut off date' which varies area to area, before which you are supposed to apply for the next school year (starts in September)

the reality is that usually if there is room in the school you can register your child at any time of year

Try this english version document - it does say that if you're registering for the first time it should be done before 31st march.

It came from this page
