Default Scalibor

We have just got our two dogs their first Scalibor collars (Winter lasts quite a lot longer up here).
SWMBO wants to know if they can still sleep on the bed, given all the health warnings on the box?

What's a scalibor collar and what's an SWMBO?
I don't have a dog but am quite interested now.

Scalibor: against fleas, ticks, various other nasties. SWMBO: no idea! I want to know about IN the bed.... cats ON the bed I can cope with. Our mutt is too big to take up any bed space let alone be in it!
Ref Scalibor: ours seems eminently capable of shedding it, which at €22 a pop is a bit painful. Any ideas?

She Who Must Be Obeyed
Don't spend any longer in the Urban Dictionary than you have to unless you are VERY broad minded

SWMBO,...SHE WHO MUST BE OBEYED.....
Must confess I had no idea till I looked it up.
Could think of a few even more appropriate terms but maybe best let sleeping cats lie for now.
