it really depends what you want to watch....
many channels are available on an 80cm dish
some of the main uk channels (bbc itv) may need anything up from 1.5 to 2.4
even then you may find that some channels are not available 24/7.

i am sure someone will be along soon with better details for your area.

EDIT : forgot to mention, if you have a sky card in the uk bring it out with you...it will save you some money as opposed to getting all arranged here ...but rememeber to skhange the sky accounts address to an uk address of a frined or familty so you get bils, mags and any new cards that are being issued.

Depending on which side of Orihuela you are, you will need a min 1.5m for reasonable reception, but will not get channels such as some of the SKY Movies, CH4 and BBC2, and a few of the +1 channels. A 1.9M dish will get you 100% coverage of the main FTV channels, with BBC2, CH4 only in the afternoons and evenings with some poor reception periods. A 2.4M will give you excellent coverage, expect to pay from 750€ for 1.5M 995€ for 1.9M system, and 1295€ for a 2.4M system installed. (System being Dish, mount, cable, SKY box, SKYFTV card and installed)
