Sagunto

Hola, does anyone live in the Sagunto area? We're trying find somewhere to settle preferably near Valencia City, which we love. We passed though Sagunto and like it's position near the coast and Valencia. We don't want apartments hence Valencia surrounds. Thanks in advance!

Know an Irish guy who sold his apartment a few years ago and he did mention that flooding was an issue in recent years. Probably best to stay away from these areas and go a bit higher.

Tks Spainrico, yes we've looked all the usual sites like idealista.com.

Apparently it flooded in March when we were in Peníscola which was weird we didn't hear about it. It was bad in Peníscola but we were right up a hill. Tks for heads up.

Algimia, Torres Torres, Estevilla, or closer to the coast Pucol are nice little villages with many things happening year round. Not many Brits or other nationalities but there are some.

All the villages have regular train or bus connections to Valencia

Nice one. Like I was saying we spent the winter in Peníscola with cero ingles but it helped our slowly improving spanish. Not really interested in full English breakfast places but wouldn't mind a bit more English speakers while we continue with bureaucracy. Getting our 3rd jab and having to travel to get our NIEs in Castilon was fun. 😁

I'll check out those town, thanks all again.
