Sad news about Big Jim
As we had not heard from Big Jim, I thought I would PM his wife for any news.
Sadly I have to inform you that he passsed away on 10th October.
I am enclosing the reply PM from his brother :
Hello jdr,
I'am sorry to have to tell you my Brother passed away in the early hours of Tuesday 10th October.
Carol is coping as well as could be expected,
my wife and I are staying here in Spain for a while.
I have just looked at all of his replys on this site and I think he would have become a major player asking and answering all questions.
Thank you for thinking of us.

He was so big and vibrant even in text.....and never a hint of illness if he was concealing one.

So sad to hear, I did meet BIG JIM a couple of times, and found him a very funny man he always had a funny comment to make on life, no only on here but in person.We have lost a great man. I will raise a glass to the big fella.

As a new member did not know much about Big Jim apart from the funny things he wrote that my husband used to mention to me, sounds like he will be sadly missed.
