It has been alleged that the Mayors office was raided by the GC early today and they stayed until late afternoon when they left with siezed documents. This it is said was seen on the El Mundo website late this afternoon. Has anybody seen anything and can this rumour be verified?

Raided at 10 am by GC on order of the Court.

A new rumour has emerged that the leading opposition candidate in this Mays election for a new Mayor for Ayamonte will visit CE this Friday to present his proposals for the future of the Town and particularly CE.

This will take place in the Golf Club at 5pm on Friday. If I can confirm this I will up-date later.

Lets get the future of CE center stage and closely question this candidate on how this part of town is to improve and progress.

There will be translations for non Spanish speakers.

Are you talking about Antonio Miravent Martín?

He presents himself tonight in Ayamonte as well:

"El acto público de la presentación de mi candidatura a la Alcaldía de Ayamonte será el jueves 24 a las 20:30 horas en la Casa de Cultura (Casa Grande)."

No this is the leader of the largest opposition party who has a real chance to lead the Town next year. He is called Alberto Fernandez. However I cannot verify the time as yet.

Just received an e-mail advising Alberto Fernandez will be at the Golf club at 18.00. He is the PP candidate.

You will already have read the confirmation of the visit of the leader of PP party Alberto Fernandez to the GC for a meeting at 6.00pm so lets get down there and let him know he can have our support in May if and only if he takes our concerns about our future very seriously.

JAG is having a special Curry evening starting at 7.30 for eight so this could be a very special night on Esuri see you there John. ;)
