I sometimes think that the only rubbish law here is "out of sight, out of mind", the problem with that being it is always within someone else's sight, be it dumped on the roadside or blowing all over the campo.

However on the plus side there are ecoparcs in most areas as well as increased recycling facilities, so maybe its just a question of educating or encouraging folk to make better use of them.

Best use the ecoparc and recycling facilities wherever possible, however in the case of furniture and other items in not so bad condition, I think you will find that if they are left by the Basura skip they will be picked up fairly sharpish by someone putting them to good use or offering them for resale.

Not many rich pickings around my basura skip now, used to be loads a few years back.
Sign of the times methinks.

Intergrate with the locals ,find a particularly nice beauty spot and throw out all your rubbish there

Go to the Ayuntamiento and arrange a date for them to come and collect it. They won't charge (at least, round here they don't!) If it's still usable, it will be passed on to someone who needs it.
