Re: Roundabout!!!
In many places here (La Linea seafront and Estepona approaches come to mind) there are uncontrolled zebra crossings across dual carriageways. I don't remember ever seeing that in the UK.

Re: Roundabout!!!
Outside Euromarket in Fuengirola there are 3 zebra crossings (one combined with a cycle track crossing) and sleeping policemen in less than 50 metres of road

However without lights the pedestrians are free to slow the frontier traffic down thus assisting the Spanish blockade |
Re: Roundabout!!!
Fred, what do you think of the roundabouts on the newish San Roque Estacion bypass?
The exits have two lanes but merge to one lane within 20 metres or so. The right lane has to give way to the left lane. Utter lunacy. I've not yet had the nerve to exercise my rights in the left hand lane. If I did I would expect to be T boned with extreme prejudice from a car in the right hand lane. |

Likely only two types of pedestrians around there. The quick and the dead. |

I then rarely have trouble merging in with the lefthand lane traffic, in fact some of the locals appear to understand what I am achieving  |
