right to vote?
Does anyone know if registered ex-pats have the right to vote in local elections? As far as I know we cannot vote in national or european elections but as paid up members of the local community I would have thought that we could vote locally.

We live near Guardamar, and were already on the Padron there. We went last week to register for the local elections (which we did) and was asked if we would like to put our names on the register in order to be able to vote in the EC elections too. (which we do) Hope this helps. :) |
