Rice flour for shortbread.
 
Does rice flour exist in spain and if so what is the name in spanish.

I want to make shortbread....or is there any substitute anyone has come across.

Harina de garbanzos (chickpea flour) is good too if you want gluten-free. Also sold at Mercadona.

Have you tried it without? Ive always used it, we ran out and I made it without and its not far off perfect. You don't get the same texture, exactly, but it passed perfectly for decent shortbread.
