Retiring to Spain
my partner and i are thinking of retiring to the Costa Blanca area of Spain, can anyone give us any advice.
we'll rent out our property in the UK and spend the 6 months of the winter to try it out, has anyone done the same thing? Many thanks, look forward to hearing about your experiences, Andy and Jenny |

Re: Retiring to Spain
Hi Mike
Thank you for responding. I have property to sell here before I can make a decision. We intend to let our home here incase we do not like it. We will probably rent over there and see how we get on first. We have two and a half years to get things sorted out. Thats when I will retire. I wonder what kind of activaties there are. I like bowls and Jenny likes walking and going to the gym. Kind Regards Andy & Jenny |

We are semi retired and decided to just 'go for it' we have bought off-plan and two years since putting our names on the contract we are on the verge of moving to Spain. We have decided to sell up completely, main reason is that we had a couple of properties we rented out and the tenants we had left a lot to be desired :( Not all I hasten to add but we have had a few dodgy ones  For that reason we decided not to rent our house but to just sell up and take our chances. Friends of ours moving to Turkey have decided to rent out their bungalow when they move in case they decide to return to the UK. Different strokes for different folks. Good Luck
Keep in touch and let us know how you get on. My email address is available by clicking on my username. Kind Regards Andy & Jenny |
