Earliest appointment we can get to collect the TIE card at Malaga is 21 Sept, which we have booked. Next issue is Cita to register the S1 at INSS , earliest showing for that is 8 October and covid permitting we will be in UK then so going to have to keep an eye out for a suitable one after our return. The appointments for INSS are very sparse with many centres not taking my any .

Hi All -- OK we're in Seville province now, going to see a lawyer who will be helping us with the TIE application tomorrow. Any suggestions for important things to ask her?
Thanks

The most important is supporting documents. Do you have everything needed, does any need to be translated, privately or officially? I presume your lawyer is applying online for your Step One at the Foreigner's Office, in which case, once your application is approved, she will have to book your personal appointment for Step Two, at a police station to give your fingerprints and submit your photo and forms, then another appointment for Step Three to collect your TIE.

I collected my TIE today in Barcelona. The card was ready in 2 weeks from the Stage 2 appointment with the Police.
They take your fingerprints again when you pick the card up....in Barcelona anyway.

You may be right...but you need to have started the process by the end of the year as I said in my earlier post. Obviously people will still be arriving in December so as long as they start the process they should be ok. I´m not leaving anything to chance though. And don´t forget, it takes time to gather all the forms together once you have worked out what they will need.

If we at least commence stage one before 2021 does that mean (if unemployed at the time)) savings of at least 9,000 euros for 3 consecutive months in a Spanish bank account will apply or will we have to abide by the new rule which will state savings of 32000 euros instead of 9,000?

Do you know where I can find the email for the immigration office? I'm having trouble finding it with a simple search. I'm looking to contact the immigration office in Granada.
Cheers!
