Hi,

Im just asking a question for my friend, if anyone knows of any, and had experience with a decent reputable, ie not overpriced solicitor on the CDS. English speaking and one who has a good knowledge of Spanish immigration, permits residencia etc.

If anyone can recommend anyone I would be very greatful.

Don`t know a solicitor, but if they need a permit or visa it will probably have to be applied for at their local embassy before they leave their country

We use an abogado in Estepona - he is a nice guy, seems reliable and straightforward in his approach - if you know what i mean, he is also fluent in English. We have used him to organise our spanish wills and look after all of our tax stuff. He has also given us advise regarding residency / non residency status for our own personal circumstances.

He came recomended and we are very happy with him. It is a family firm and he is well known in the town. I don't think i am allowed to put his details up here

I have used Lawbird in Marbella for immigration stuff. They are reputable and experienced with immigration and residency.

English speaking staff as well. Probably one of the very few well regarded lawyers on the CDS.

I think the OP is talking about visas and residency for a non European rather than tax residency.
