Removing paint from pool...

I need to remove all the paint in my pool.. as it has a few cracks in it and needs repairing...

Started to jet wash it off, which is slowly doing the job (luckily its a small pool) but wont get off the stubben parts... also using a scraper..

any ideas?...

Sounds like hard work !! Does it not depend on what the paint is over ? I.e. ceramic times, concrete and what you intend to do with the pool afterwards !

Its over concrete, and will be repaired and re-concreted after?... then re-painted..

The usual method (so I'm told) is to sand blast it off or to use a special tool which has flailing brushes - very noisy and very dirty.

Apparently that's the best way to get rid of all the old paint, fibreglass and/or loose cement/concrete.
