Just be a little cautious with comparing online quotes with those who have actually visited you to conduct a survey.

Online they will only estimate on volume and distance, but wont take into account things like access to your property and special or awkward items etc.

Perhaps call them an ask them to come out and conduct a survey? this should be free and non-obligatory and will confirm if the online quote is accurate.

Dont take any notice of it .... I bet there is a disclaimer there.

The only way to be sure is to get them to come out and look at what you have. Get a written quote, and if you engage them then write to them telling them so, and refer them to the quotation that they gave.

Be very sure what their insurance cover is. get a copy of what is covered and what isn't in writing. Make sure the insurance isn't invalid if you pack your own personal effects.

Removals companies in general will do absolutely anything they can to get out of paying insurance claims, so prevention is better than cure. Pack breakables yourself in solid triwall cartons with bubblewrap.
