Registering for schools in Estepona
 

Hello I am new to this forum and seeking some advice regards to applying for school places for my two children aged 4 and 11yrs.

I understand that in Spain school is not compulsory until the child reaches 6 however I would like him to attend an Infantile and we are looking at state spanish schools.

The area we are wanting to move to is Estepona and I have seen some good reviews concerning Antonio Machado secondary school.

Can anyone give me some guidance on whether I can start the application process here in the UK or do we need to wait until we are living in Spain?
We are renting to begin with and I did ideally want to secure a school place before we settled on a house.

Any guidance would be gratefully appreciated.
