recommendations - visiting Gandia
Hi all
Ive been away a while, looking for recommendations for places to visit, eat etc over the next couple of weeks.
Seems like quite a few places have closed since our last visit
Thanks in advance

Obviously get a train to Valencia.
Xativa is worth considering. Get the land train up to the castle.
Beach bars. The Olibaba at Oliva is claimed to be one of the best in Spain. Gandia also has some good bars along the quayside towards the beach area.
Food wise I only really know Oliva but would recommend several, L'Olivera, El Lloc and Ca Fran in the town, Oasis between the town and the beach, Soqueta, La Nansa (New, is owned by Tony from La Gavina) and Bar Europa at the beach. Check them out on trip advisor. There are cheaper places at the beach that have a menu del dia that are not too bad.
